Terms of use. And what the service may not be used for.

These are the terms InkReady AI is offered on, and the limits on what it may be used to make. Luminary Tech S.R.L. operates the service. Payment runs through Polar as merchant of record, so Polar's own terms govern the payment, and these govern the service. Operator: Luminary Tech S.R.L., Bd. Pending legal review

This is a draft that has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. We publish it now so you can read what you would be agreeing to before you pay, and it may change after the review. Nothing here limits a right your own law gives you.

The service

What the service is, and what it is not

InkReady AI produces book interiors, covers, ebook formats, back matter and KDP listing metadata, and issues a preflight report checking those files against Amazon KDP's published specification.

It does not publish to Amazon KDP, Apple Books or any other store. No public publishing API exists for those stores. The author uploads.

It does not guarantee that Amazon will accept a file. The preflight report states what was measured and against which revision of the KDP specification table. Acceptance is Amazon's decision, made against policies Amazon may change.

It is not a bulk publishing tool. There is no batch generation and no volume tier.

Disclosure

AI-generated content and the author's disclosure obligation

Books produced by the generation pipeline are AI-generated under Amazon's own definition: content created by an AI-based tool is AI-generated even where the author edits it substantially afterwards, while content the author wrote and an AI tool only edited, refined, error-checked or brainstormed around is AI-assisted. Only AI-generated content must be disclosed to Amazon (https://kdp.amazon.com/en_US/help/topic/G200672390, retrieved 2026-09-03).

  • InkReady AI derives the KDP disclosure answers from a per-section record of how each section was produced, and prints a disclosure line on the copyright page by default.
  • Confirming the disclosure at upload is the author's obligation, not ours. Our answers are a starting point drawn from what the pipeline produced; the author is responsible for the accuracy of what they submit, including for any material they added or replaced outside the product.
  • The author warrants that they will disclose AI-generated content accurately to any store they publish through.
  • Misrepresenting AI use violates Amazon's content guidelines and can cost the author the title and, on repetition, the account.

Acceptable use

Acceptable use

The author may not use the service to produce or distribute:

  1. Content impersonating a real person, or presented as written by, endorsed by or affiliated with someone who has not agreed to it.
  2. Medical, legal, financial or other advice presented as expert guidance where the named author holds no relevant credential or experience, and where the book does not carry the disclaimers that context requires.
  3. Material that launders copyrighted or trademarked source material, including unauthorised summaries, study guides or companion works, which Amazon restricts separately.
  4. Content Amazon's content guidelines prohibit outright, such as illegal or infringing material, hate speech, sexual exploitation of children, pornography, glorification of rape or paedophilia, advocacy of terrorism.
  5. Undifferentiated public-domain reissues.
  6. Books produced as inventory rather than as work, meaning generated for resale as done-for-you packages, for volume listing, or through automation intended to defeat the per-account volume policy.

Volume

Volume

Credits are sized so that ordinary use stays within the cadence Amazon publishes: 10 titles per book format each week. The widely repeated three-titles-per-day figure has no primary Amazon source and is not restated by us.

One credit covers one book of up to 30,000 words, counted on the outline you approve as the number of chapters times the words per chapter. An outline over it is refused, never charged more.

Suspension

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches section 3, that circumvents the volume policy, or that we reasonably believe is being used to flood a store with generated books. Suspension is not a refund mechanism; the refund position is stated separately in the billing terms and follows Polar's merchant-of-record obligations.

Content

The author's content, and ours

  • The author owns their inputs. We claim no rights in the generated output and assign whatever rights we may hold in it.
  • Stated with care: the copyrightability of purely AI-generated material is unsettled in several jurisdictions. This clause says what we claim and disclaim. It is not a promise about what any law grants.
  • We do not train models on user content. Your text passes through our model gateway to the provider that writes each stage, and each provider has its own terms about training on data that reaches it. We have not finished reviewing those terms, so this is a promise about us and not about them. The privacy policy says where that review stands.
  • Retention, sub-processors, the EU data region and self-serve deletion are stated in the privacy policy.

Questions about these terms go to support@inkreadyai.com. The refund and credit terms are on the refunds page, and what we store and for how long is on the privacy page.
